Do you have a spare room? Could you be a host?
DASH is pleased to be working in partnership with Refugees At Home which runs a national hosting service for asylum seekers and refugees without accommodation. We refer clients – guests – and Refugees At Home match them with a host. We provide client support throughout the stay, ensuring that casework is active, thereby (hopefully) seeing an end to their destitution. Since 2015, Refugees At Home has arranged over 800 hosted placements.

Testimonial from a host:
“I’d been offered a job away from Huddersfield but wanted to be able to visit family here. When DASH asked for help for asylum seekers, we offered rooms in our house. It’s a win-win situation. We have somewhere to stay when we visit and our guests have a stable residence where they can rebuild their lives.”
