'I feel relaxed here'
#COVID19 Please note drop ins are suspended until further notice. Drop ins allow us to get to know our clients and, crucially, allow clients to get to know us. Drop ins provide a safe environment where clients can get advice, a hot meal, socialise with others, befriend our volunteers and often, when they’ve had a chance to settle, become volunteers themselves…
"DASH HELPED US WITH OUR PROBLEMS. THEY ARE OUR OTHER FAMILY"
Food & Friendship
We provide a free hot lunch and the chance to socialise.
CASEWORK & REFERRALS
We are OISC accredited to offer Asylum and Protection Advice at Level 1. We do not offer legal advice, we help clients to find solicitors. We also access human rights assessments, liaise with family reunion agencies, signpost and refer.
Housing, Health & Education
We help clients explore housing options and liaise with providers. We help clients register with a GP and dentist, attend hospital appointments and liaise with mental health services. We help clients secure school places and uniforms. See Support Us for information on hosting.
We provide donated food, clothes, toys and baby items.
We offer a range of activities including crafting, table tennis and board games.
